BioWare Writer Says New Dragon Age Game is Being Developed

A new Dragon Age game is now being developed, BioWare writer Alexis Kennedy said.

During a recent talk with Eurogamer, Kennedy discussed his remote role with the RPG developer and his experience on working on such a huge project. Kennedy previously created Sunless Sea and scripted story DLC for Stellaris.

"There are huge differences between all of that and what I'm working on at BioWare," Kennedy explained, adding, "which I can now legitimately say is in the Dragon Age franchise although it has been known for a while.

Kennedy continued: "Notionally it was a secret but, because of who I was working with, everyone who cared knew. And then the day I started, Mark Darrah [executive producer of the Dragon Age franchise] tweeted saying, 'Welcome to the Dragon Age franchise,' so I thought, well, I guess that's official now then."

When IGN reached out to BioWare for confirmation, a representative said: "it's a pleasure having Alexis involved with BioWare; we have no new information to share regarding Dragon Age at this time."

It looks like the company is still keeping things under wraps. Well, at least we're getting some updates about Dragon Age. We still haven't heard any juicy details about Elder Scrolls 6.
