The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay has announced on Twitter that Billy Dee Williams will provide the voice of Two-Face in the movie. This is an interesting choice because Williams played Harvey Dent, who becomes Two-Face, in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film.
Harvey didn't transform into Two-Face in Burton's film, so it's exciting that Williams is reprising the role.
Williams, known for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Original Star Wars Trilogy, is joining the stellar cast that includes Will Arnett as Batman, Michael Cera as Robin, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn, Rosario Dawson as Catwoman, and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker.
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO® Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO® BatmanMovie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
The LEGO Batman Movie is set to release in theaters on February 10, 2017.
