Beyoncé Rumored To Provide The Song For Bond 25

With every new Bond movie comes a new song from a popular artist of the time. Chris Cornell did it for Casino Royale, Jack White and Alicia Keys did it for Quantum of Solace, Adele did it for Skyfall, Sam Smith did it for Spectre; and now rumor has it that Beyoncé will be the one singing the theme for Bond 25.

According to The Daily Star, Beyoncé has had a chat with Adele about taking the job. They write:

"The two spoke before Bey's first meeting with film bosses and Adele told her how co-writing and performing a Bond theme gave her an amazing career hike".

It wouldn't be Beyoncé's first foray into spy films. Way back in 2002, she played the love interest to Mike Myers as Foxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers: Goldmember. In that movie, she also recorded a song for that movie called Goldmember.

Of course with Bond 25, Beyoncé looks to be providing just the music without any of the acting, which won't be such a bad thing either. As for the career hike that Adele mentioned, I don't think Beyoncé really needs it. If anything, her inclusion in the movie will probably have more Beyoncé fans interested in Bond than Bond fans suddenly noticing Beyoncé .

As of now, we still have no idea what Bond 25 will be about, but Daniel Craig has already confirmed that he will be returning for this movie—hoping this will be his last foray as 007. Hopefully they pick a suitable replacement for Craig in the future.

Bond 25 is slated for a release on Nov. 8, 2019.
