Following the surge of rumors that's been surrounding Ghost Rider, one rumor, in particular, is being eyed on by multiple fans ever since it was shared.
In Cosmic Book News' previous report, rumors on casting Bella Thorne as the female Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe got a lot of attention. Including, the actress involved herself.
The Shake It Up star somewhat responded to rumors by posting a screenshot of CBN's article on her Instagram Story. Much like Snapchat, Instagram Stories only lasts for 24 hours unless highlighted. Fortunately, a Redditor saw Thorne's post and proceeded to share it on Reddit.
Although she posted a screenshot, the actress did not bother to make a comment about the rumor. This could look like the actress is neither confirming it or denying the claims.
Bella Thorne as the female Ghost Rider rumors came from an unknown source in 4Chan, which suggests that the character would be introduced in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Along with the female Ghost Rider are alternate versions of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
Considering Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige's plans on making diversity and representation the future of the MCU, it won't be a surprise if a female Ghost rider is going to show up sometime soon.
Who knows? It's still early for casting calls for Ghost Rider so Thorne could have been hinting that she would want to do it to be noticed. But at the same time, she could mean that she's actually in talks with the company.
In the event that this rumor is true, having the female Ghost Rider would deem possible and would fit just right in the movie. With that said, none of these are confirmed yet so we advise you to take these rumors with a grain of salt.
