DC fans were certainly disappointed when they found out that Warner Brothers made a lot of significant changes in Justice League, cutting scenes from the superhero team-up film
One of these scenes supposedly includes that showing Kiersey Clemon's Iris West, and now a new behind-the-scenes video of Justice League gives fans a look at the character.
Though it seems like Warner Brothers managed to have the video taken down before fans would go on a riot, we have a screenshot of Iris West, and a description of the various scenes in the behind-the-scenes video (via Comicbook).
Apparently, the video showed off the green screen production that had gone into filming one of Justice League's scenes that failed to reach the final cut of the movie.
This scene is where the Flash (Ezra Miller) sees that Iris West is in danger after her car crashes into a large truck. Using his super speed, Barry breaks through a window to rescue the character.
According to the publication, the deleted behind-the-scenes video featured Clemons in her Iris costume being swung upside down in a rig machine for the scene. The actress then exchanges a few lines with Miller's stunt double right before the rig machine places her back upright./
It's definitely such a shame that the studio decided to cut Iris West's scene. Not only did Clemons seem pretty excited over the sequence when she was interviewed for Justice League earlier this year, fans were pretty hyped for the scene too. Guess we'll just have to try harder so we can get a Zack Snyder cut of the movie.
Justice League is currently screening in cinemas.
