Batman Has Weapons for Superman’s ‘Every Move’ in Dawn of Justice

While it's known that Batman is equipped enough with multitudes of high-tech weapons and gadgets to defeat Superman, probably his biggest asset is his mind. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Director Zack Snyder knows this and it seems that he is expanding this ability of the Caped Crusader in the movie.

He said as much in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. Asked about the major fights in the film, the Man of Steel filmmaker explained the two superheroes' different approaches in combat.

The director becomes animated as he reenacts their big knock-down, drag-out battle. "Superman doesn't have to be as much of a chess player as Batman," says Snyder. Superman has might on his side, but before the fists start flying, we see an armored Batman placing various traps in an abandoned stockyard, then walking along and driving a Kryptonite spear into the ground. "He paces it off," Snyder says. "Then when he throws Superman, the spear is right there. So you're like, wait a minute, did he [plan] every bit? He know every move?"

Everybody pretty much know already who's going to win this fight, but it's still pretty interesting to see how the fight will go down. With Batman prepared to take on Superman's ever move, I'm expecting watching the movie will be quite an epic experience.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters on March 25.
