Base Goku and Vegeta Get Character Trailers For Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco has released the trailers for their most disappointing DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The base versions of Goku and Vegeta are coming to the game, whether fans want them to or not but to be fair, their attacks do seem pretty unique. It's still a bit annoying to have so many versions of Goku and Vegeta in the game, though knowing they'll play very differently from their Super Saiyan counterparts should ease in some fans.

The intro for Base Goku is perfect and actually pays tribute to the classic Dragon Ball Z opening that had Cha-La Head Cha-La as the theme song. Seeing Goku ride the Nimbus Cloud and land kind of funny should put a smile on the faces of many.

His new attacks look great too, including a Ki push that he used on Ginyu Force members Jeice and Burter, as well as his Kaioken Finisher that ends with a Kamehameha. Plus, we finally have the Spirit Bomb as his level 3, after only being able to see it via a Dramatic Finish against Kid Buu.

Base Vegeta stands out a bit more than Goku. While his rival is in essentially the same gi as his two transformations already in the game, Vegeta is in his original Saiyan armor. It looks great and his moves are also pretty unique compared to his forms in the game, with Dirty Fireworks as a special move or auto combo, Galick Gun as a level 1 finisher, and the move he used to kill Nappa as his level 3.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now. No release date for these two have been revealed but they will be coming out in August.
