While Ben Affleck's version of the Dark Knight is supposedly on a mission to gather the rest of DC's superheroes for the DC Expanded Universe's upcoming Justice League film, it looks like the comic book version of the hero Gotham deserves is busy fighting off a more personal danger in the Batman comic series.
According to a report by Screen Rant, Bruce Wayne is now fighting for his life and the lives of the Batman Family in Batman#16 as Bane comes back for revenge against the Dark Knight and the people he loves.
For those who haven't read the comics just yet, the last few issues of Batman were spent tracking down a cure to save the life of Gotham Girl, one of Batman's newest allies, and it seems like saving the mind of the metahuman crime fighter had forced the two to go against Bane and steal one of his most prized possession.
Now in the new issue of the comic book series, as Bruce and Alfred try to bring Gotham Girl to the Batmobile for a therapy session with Psyhco-Pirate, fans see the three walk into the Batcave to find Robin, Nightwing and Jason Todd all hung up together with the words "I am Bane."
Is it possible that Bane actually was able to find and kill all of Batman's sidekicks, or is this another trick from the supervillain? Fans have to get a copy of Batman #16 to see for themselves.
