Avengers: Infinity War Movies Will Affect Guardians of the Galaxy 3

Everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been integrated in a lot of ways. Guardians of the Galaxy's threequel is slated to be just that, particularly when we got introduced to not only Thanos, but also his family members, Nebula and Gamora.

And while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 took place right after its first movie, the third movie will apparently arrive after the two Avengers titles. The development of this movie may be a little trickier, and one that will need patience for the director's part.

This is what Sean Gunn, James Gunn's brother and the breakout star in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 when he played the role of Kraglin, who came through as an adorable comrade towards the end. Speaking to FanFest, he said that he himself isn't sure where his character will go now that he's joined the Guardians after Yondu's death.

"I know that James is being a little bit more patient this time around. Partially because some of what happens with the Guardians is dependent on what happens with them in Infinity War. And even though my brother's a producer on Infinity War, those movies aren't finished yet so until we kind of see where everything lands, there that's going to have some bearing on what happens with the Guardians. So it's a little bit of a wait and see but I'm sure there are a lot of ideas already in the works."

What's interesting here is the timeline that this presents. A lot of people are expecting that there will be a lot of death in Avengers: Infinity War, so it's interesting where Gunn will bring the movie to. At the same time, it does make me wonder if this pertains to potential deaths in the current roundup of Guardians. We can't forget previous hints that Vol. 3 will see a different set of Guardians.

Whatever the plan may be, we're sure that Gunn will be on top of things to create yet another epic ender to the threequel. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is currently breaking its own record at box office.
