Avengers: Infinity War Moves Towards New York with Casting Calls

Production for Avengers: Infinity War may be moving fast towards its New York leg. A new sighting via Movie Casting Call revealed some new roles, particularly for extras in the upcoming film.

If you're interested in becoming an extra and have never had the chance to appear in any of the Marvel films, this may be your chance:

"Males & Females: Any ethnicity, who appear 18 – 50's, all types. Especially needed are people with New York looks, and also people with good character faces. Filming is tentatively scheduled for May 19, 2017. A wardrobe fitting could possibly be required in the beginning of May. You must have an open and flexible schedule, as the dates are very tentative at the moment. If you have previously worked on this film in any area, you are NOT eligible to be considered for these new roles. This is for NEW TALENT only, who have not worked on the film."

The listing is both vague and specific at the same time. For one, it's obvious that these will be for a number of extra roles who can populate a scene. However, some restrictions and preferences, such as the need for new talent and "character faces" may suggest that there may be some interesting scenes involving these extras.

Avengers: Infinity War is dubbed Mary Lou for its production codename for these castings. So far, the production is still ongoing in Pinewood Atlanta Studios, though we know that the Big Apple will always play a role in the Marvel cinematic universe.

Avengers Infinity: War will be out in theaters mid-2018. Its untitled sequel will arrive a year after in May 2019.
