Avengers: Infinity War Might Be The Longest Film In The MCU

It looks like Avengers: Infinity War just might be Marvel's longest film yet.

AMC Theaters just recently put up Infinity War's runtime up on its site, and it looks like Marvel fans are in for a 2 hour 36 minute long battle between the Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Mad Titan Thanos.

Though Marvel Studios has yet to release the runtime of the film, it's very likely that AMC's posted runtime for Infinity War is accurate. The first installment in the Russo Brother's two-part Avengers movie is just a little less than a couple months away from its release, and AMC wouldn't post a place-holding number this close to Infinity War's premiere.

If proven to be accurate, Infinity War will be Marvel's longest movie, beating the 2-hour-and-28-minute-long Captain America: Civil War.

Though some might say Infinity War just has a measly eight extra minutes, a lot can happen in a movie in a minute's time, and fans wouldn't want to miss a single scene in Marvel's superhero smashdown. The Avengers have a lot to lose fighting the Mad Titan, and Joe and Anthony Russo have both been candid about the possibility of character death in their upcoming Avengers movie.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27, 2018.
