Avengers Infinity War: Marvel Producer Wanted to Prevent One Character Death

The end of Avengers: Infinity War saw the death of a good chunk of the Avengers team, but producer Nate Moore shares that he wanted to prevent the death of one of the characters. As it turns out, he wanted Black Panther to be spared from the snap.

Talking to the Huffington Post, Moore explains:

"I knew pretty well what they were talking about and personally urged them to reconsider… But the storytelling made sense, so I love that we got to see a little bit more of Wakanda in that film, and I hope to see how they're going to resolve that."

For now, we're sure that Okoye (Danai Gurira) is alive, but it hasn't been revealed if Shuri (Letitia Wright) had survived the snap, however. If anything, it would be up to her to assume the throne and become the new Black Panther of Wakanda.

With the success of the first Black Panther film, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that T'Challa will be brought back to life in Avengers 4. What I really want to see, however, is how the MCU will be coping after the events of having half of the Earth's population disappear.

Avengers: Infinity War is still out in theaters.
