Avengers: Age of Ultron introduced us to the "Hulkbuster" armor Veronica, and the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War confirms that we'll be getting an upgraded version of it. A clearer image of the new Hulkbuster has found its way online, and it looks just as sophisticated as Tony Stark's new Iron Man suit.
Check it out:
My guess is that the suit has been lined with Vibranium from Wakanda, and that would make it a lot tougher than the first Hulkbuster suit we saw. I'm also just guessing here, but it looks like the arc reactors on the legs have been moved to the side as compared to them being in the center.
There's been a lot of speculation that the person wearing the Hulkbuster armor in the trailer is Bruce Banner instead of Tony Stark. It makes sense since Banner did help develop the tech, but a leaked Lego set featuring the Hulkbuster also describes that Banner will be driving the suit; what's also weird is that the set didn't include Iron Man at all, further adding fuel to the "Bruce in the Hulkbuster" rumor.
With the Hulkuster armor being one of the highlights of Age of Ultron, it would make sense that they would bring it back in some way for Infinity War. If Thanos is as powerful as they say he is, the Avengers will have to hit him with everything they've got.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to come out May 4.
