Avengers: Infinity War Close To Wrapping Up Production

It looks like Avengers: Infinity War's production is coming to a close. Now filming in Atlanta, Georgia, the production's been running for about six months with numerous breaks to make way for changes in schedules and locations.

For the last few weeks fans have seen photos from the Infinity War set make their way online, showing the cast having a good time. There was the set Science Bros. selfies featuring Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange)and Benedict Wong (Wong) and then later between RDJ and Ruffalo. There was also a set photo from director Scott Derrickson showing a return to Stephen Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum.

Now, according to Atlanta Filming, a media handle that tracks the developments of productions and star sightings within the city of Atlanta, Avengers: Infinity War's principal photography is about to come to an end. It seems like only a few actors have been left to work in the area with production expected to officially close by July 14.

Not only does this allow Marvel to move on to principal photography for the Infinity War's sequel which production is scheduled to begin on July 27, it also allows gives the studio ample time to work on reshoots if necessary.

Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas on May 4, 2018 while the untitled Avengers 4 film makes its way to the big screen on May 3, 2019.
