Attack on Titan Season 2 Illustration Teases New Character & Stills

Following the teaser visual that showed off an intense titan face-off, a new illustration and preview stills have made it on the Internet for Attack on Titan season 2.

This time, the new visual features the three main players in the Survey Corps, Levi, Erwin Smith, and Hange (via Yonkou Productions) Zoe. But perhaps the more interesting aspect here is the other teased page, which features a couple of anime stills.

We see a teaser return of the Colossal Titan, and an interesting abnormal biting the neck of another titan, something that we didn't see in other Titans other than Eren's transformation.

There's also a sneak peek of the Beast Titan, whose identity we will just keep to avoid spoilers. But it's good to know that he will be part of this arc, given the animated stills.

While the mainstays are there, including the trio Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, as well as he two big bosses of the Survey Corps Erwin and Levi, there also seems to be a focus on Ymir and Krista, hinting to the roles that these two will be playing in the second season.

Finally, there are a few more stills of Eren's titan facing off against the Armored Titan. His titan form still looks as menacing as ever, and we can expect more blood not just from the gory nature of human-eating titans—but rather Eren's bloody way of transforming a.k.a. biting off a part of his hand.

The preview stills also tease a new character coming in the second season of Attack on Titan. For those who have been following the manga, you'll be happy to know that Nanaba will be coming to the team.

Attack on Titan season 2 will be back for spring on April 1.
