Assassin's Creed Origins Comics Come With DLC For The Game

Titan Comics has been making Assassin's Creed comic books for some time now, so it should come to no surprise that a series based on Assassin's Creed Origins will be coming out next year. What's really interesting about the comic series is that it won't just tie-in to the game and elaborate on certain plot points, but each issue will also have DLC for the game.

According to Bleeding Cool, each issue will have some sort of DLC in it, making them a bit valuable to those planning to purchase the game. While the DLC wasn't elaborated on, fans can assume that it is extra weapons or in-game cash since it's doubtful Ubisoft would put any story DLC in these comics. Still, these make each issue worthy of a purchase.

Interestingly enough, the comic series will be written by Anne Toole. Aside from being the writer of Assassin's Creed Origins and Horizon Zero Dawn, she's also an actual Egyptologist. Ubisoft prides themselves on having a diverse working place and having Toole on the comic book should give it some credibility and authenticity.

Fans will be able to purchase these comic books in January. Assassin's Creed Origins come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.
