Anthony Mackie Wants A Falcon And Winter Solider Spinoff After Infinity War And Avengers 4

Anthony Mackie might be in along with the rest of the Earth's Mightiest Avengers, but it looks like the Avengers star doesn't see anything wrong with Falcon having a little spinoff series with Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes.

Sitting down to speak in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mackie expressed interest in working on a 48 Hours-like spinoff starring the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

"Sebastian is a damn good actor and he's a damn good friend, so I think our relationship — really, it's the three of us, he, [Captain America actor Chris Evans] and I - our relationship kind of works really well because there's a mutual respect," Mackie told the publication. "So a spinoff would be great, but it would be like Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy in 48 Hours, that would be our spinoff. It would end up with us beating the crap out of each other three or four times, I know it."

Barnes and Mackie must certainly have an interesting kind of relationship coming off of Captain America:Civil War, and we're certainly excited to see what kind of banter might come from the two.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27. Its sequel, Avengers 4, premieres May 3, 2019.
