Anthony Mackie Flies As The New Captain America In New Image

Avengers: Endgame closed the character arcs of a number of major Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes including the First Avenger, Captain America (Chris Evans). In the film, we get to see Steve Rogers travelling back in time and reliving his life, this time with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). He then passes on the Captain America mantle to one of his closest friends, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie).

Now that the Captain America name's been passed on, fans are eager to see what Falcon might look like as the MCU's new super soldier. A new art piece imagines Sam Wilson's new look as Captain America.

Check it out down here:

The art piece gives Falcon a new look in the colors of Captain America. It's an interesting imagining, though we're quite sure that Marvel artists would give the hero a different design.

Right now, Marvel is working on a bunch of new series featuring heroes that never got the opportunity to star in their own standalone movies. One of these shows includes Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a new series where Sam Wilson headlines together with Sebastian Stan's Bucky.

We're not quite sure what the plot of the series might be, but we're eager to see where the show will take the MCU, especially after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Here's the synopsis of the film:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, "Avengers: Endgame."

Falcon and the Winter Soldier is expected to begin filming this fall. Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
