Yellowjacket may have been the villain in the first Ant-Man movie, but did you know that the Yellowjacket persona was first taken on by Hank Pym in the comics? As it turns out, he was very close to wearing the Yellojacket suit in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

What's cool is, they even managed to give him the ‘shoulder pads' from the comic version of Hank Pym's costume.

While I think it would be cool to have Ant-Man working alongside the original , I guess it would have been hard to justify Pym taking on the Yellowjacket persona. I just hope that some point in the future, we get to see a full size-altering team with the original Ant-Man and Wasp suiting up alongside their protégés.

As for Darren Cross, director Peyton Reed has said that it's possible that he survived the events of the first Ant-Man. With the sequel explaining to us that Janet Pym can survive the Quantum Realm for decades, the very same logic could apply to Cross who seemingly got shrunken into oblivion.

We still don't have any word on the third movie, but you can still catch Ant-Man and the Wasp in cinemas today.
