Actress/singer Anna Kendrick told Net A Porter that after receiving a Squirrel Girl comic book from her brother because her brother thinks she should play her, she said that she's open to the idea.
"I don't know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!"
I could imagine her playing Squirrel Girl, a light-hearted character, much like Kendrick, but I doubt Marvel would shell out the cash to bring her to the big screen anytime soon. Squirrel Girl even managed to beat up Thanos even though it happened in parody issues that are not meant to be canon.
