Andy Serkis Confirms That Supreme Leader Snoke From Star Wars: The Force Awakens is (Spoilers)

Spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens ahead.

One of the biggest questions many fans have been asking since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is "Who exactly is Supreme Leader Snoke?" The most popular fan theory is that he's none other than Darth Plagueis, a powerful Sith Lord and former master of Palpatine, who was mentioned during the prequels. For more clarification, here's what Palpatine says during Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of The Sith:

"Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying."

Thanks to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Andy Serkis, the actor behind the mysterious villain has confirmed that Snoke is none other than "...just Snoke.". He goes to say that he was completely aware of the prequels' events, but it turns out that Snoke is "a new addition to the storyline." He also revealed a few more characteristics about Snoke:

"Supreme Leader Snoke is quite an enigmatic character, and strangely vulnerable at the same time as being quite powerful…Obviously he has a huge agenda. He has suffered a lot of damage. As I said, there is a strange vulnerability to him, which belies his true agenda, I suppose."

Now, that we partly know who Snoke really is, there's still a lot of things we want to know about him: What is his agenda? Where did he come from? And how did he meet Kylo Ren? Hopefully, Star Wars: Episode VIII would answer these questions. Serkis' comments contradict the speculated proof that claims Snoke is Plagueis. So what do you think about this revelation?
