Alien: Covenant New Trailer Shows the Creation of Walter

If all of the new glimpses of Alien: Covenant didn't seem creepy or scary, then maybe you'd feel little more unsettled with this new trailer.

Titled Meet Walter, the video shows the creation of the titular character of the teaser, played by Michael Fassbender.

"Introducing Walter, the latest synthetic by Weyland-Yutani. Created to serve. Intelligence powered by AMD, Ryzen, and Radeon."

In the video, we see how Walter starts off as an empty shell, being manufactured carefully—and creepily—in a very deliberate fashion. Personally, the creepy moment was when they left him in the room overnight, as if he were dough being made to rise so he's perfect for molding the next day.

And he is, because when we finally see the sheet lifted, we see a fully-fleshed out Fassbender, though looking very soulless as an empty body, even when he moves. It becomes even creepier with almost no dialogue, and only the song of Melanie De Biasio to provide any audio accompaniment.

The very feel of the trailer is like an ad for a car being created—or basically any commodity being manufactured. It also has an official website which invites you to reserve your own Walter—but all it will do is place ads about the fictional Walter that you order in certain websites that you may visit.

Alien: Covenant will be out in theaters on May 19.
