Star Wars fans might have been a bit concerned over the missing marketing buzz for Solo: A Star Wars Story but now that Lucasfilm's finally rolled out a new trailer for the movie, there seems to be nothing but excitement surrounding the Star Wars spinoff.

Now, as the film draws closer to its premiere Solo star Alden Ehrenreich tells Kinowetter why he's excited for the spinoff movie, calling the film a biopic of Han Solo.

"I think this movie is a great adventure story, and it's a great adventure story that's kind of a biopic in the way of a fictional character," Ehrenreich told the publication. "So you're watching this story unfold and enjoying the high excitement of that. And then at the same time, there's more of a focus on character and how he changes, I think, than you typically get in that kind of movie."

Han's always been a gambler and it's going to be exciting seeing the former Imperial Academy pilot roll the dice and thrive in a space of scum and villainy. We wonder how much Han's adventures are going to change him, turning him into the man we meet in A New Hope.

Here's the synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story:

"Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes."

Solo: A Star Wars Story premiers May 25.
