There's been a lot of talk about the connection shared by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The upcoming Star Wars sequel trilogy installment's trailer has been hinting at Rey and Ren coming together, and while there most fans are busy worrying that Jakku orphan might turn to the Dark Side, others are interested in whether the two might become an item.

Speaking in an interview with Screen Rant, Driver is asked how exactly the leader of the Knights of Ren views Rey in The Last Jedi after the confrontation n The Force Awakens. Rey ended up cutting up Ren's face during the lightsaber battle on the Starkiller Base after the murder of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and we're pretty sure that the First Order villain might not be as happy to see Rey again. However, according to Driver, Ben Solo's more or less uncertain about his opinion of the powerful Force user.

"I think it's more of a question mark. I don't think he's really landed on any kind of answer about what his opinion is of her. I think there's just, there's something that he recognizes that maybe no one else does I would say. But he hasn't, I don't think it's something that he's resolved in his mind."

When the publication throws a follow-up question that tries to confirm whether Ren views Rey in a unique kind of way, this is his response:

"Oh, for sure. I would say."

While this doesn't readily mean that fans are going to see a romantic spark between the two, we don't doubt that the relationship between Kylo Ren and Rey will play a role in the battle between the Resistance and the First Order.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
