As much as we enjoyed the portrayal of Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, or Cillian Murphy in the earlier movies of the A Quiet Place franchise, it is unlikely for them to return in for the prequel.

The first two movies in the franchise focused on the lives of the Abbot family, who lived in New York until the sightless aliens invaded the Earth and pushed human beings to the brink of extinction within weeks. The aliens, called the Death Angels, had super-evolved hearing that forced humans to adapt quiet means of living to survive.

The first film introduced us to Day 89 before leaping forward to the events in Day 472 and Day 473. A Quiet Place Part II tells the events in the days after that.
