It has been said that the movie will span multiple years in Han Solo's life, but we only really got Han's story 13 years before the first Star Wars, then a time jump to three years later. We also know that we have eight years before the show catches on to the story of Star Wars Rebels.

After the reappearance of a certain character, a lot of people have been expressing their confusion as to where Solo stood in the main Star Wars story. I guess it's time to do more research on expanded universe elements from The Clone Wars as well as Rebels. Though the film was fun for more casual fans, there are also a handful of neat Easter Eggs for the fans who follow Star Wars more religiously.
