Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is only a couple of sleeps away. Now, a new video is revealing some of the best gadgets Batman will use in the “greatest gladiator match in the history of the world.”
While Batman is hands down a great fighter, he wouldn’t be able to survive a fight against Superman and the Kryptonian’s superhuman powers. Apart from the Caped Crusader’s ingenuity, this is where his “toys” come in.
A new video from DC Entertainmentis giving audiences a closer look into some of the coolest toys that Batman uses to fight bad guys in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The discussion starts around the 2:28 mark. DC All Access spoke with Batman v Superman prop master Douglas Harlocker on how he designed The Dark Knight’s three primary tools. Obviously, Bruce Wayne’s fortune is one of the reasons the tools are among the best a superhero can find. In addition to Wayne Industries, Alfred had much to do in the creating his Master Wayne’s gadgets, which goes with the theory of Alfred being Batman’s ultimate weapon in the film.
There’s the Batarangs, which Snyder wanted to be designed in a way that it could “stick into anything.”
There’s also the grapple gun, which can thrust Batman to higher ground and act as a hammer.
Then there’s Batman’s cowl, which has super high-tech inner workings that creates Batman’s voice and allows Bruce to communicate with Alfred. It also allows him to see better in the dark.

Aesthetics-wise, I like the Batarangs best. Although, I don’t think any of the mentioned gagdets would be able to strike Superman. I’m pretty excited to see what gadget Batman will use to fight Clark.
