A Camera Almost Hits Kurt Russell In The Face In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Bloopers

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is coming to DVD, and a lot of promotion is coming out for the release. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we get to watch the official blooper reel of GOTG Vol. 2, and it has some really fun moments from the cast.

Probably the funniest bit of the trailer is Sylvester Stallone trying to say "Ravagers" but constantly failing. You also get some fun moments from Dave Bautista as well as Michael Rooker on set.

Going back to the moment near the end where Russell is almost hit in the face with the camera, director James Gunn had this to say:

"Oh my god, yeah… And the amazing thing about that moment is that Kurt did not budge. You look at him, and he's such a pro, that he's just standing there. Oh my god, it went way too close. We were just an inch away from him getting his face broken open and that would have been the end of Kurt Russell on Guardians of the Galaxy."

As of now, Guardians of the Galaxy sits on a worldwide profit of $861M with Spider-Man: Homecoming swinging behind with $670M. Of course, Spider-Man has yet to finish its run in theaters, so the movie has a lot of time to catch up to Guardians' success.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits digital Aug. 8, and DVD/Blu-Ray on Aug. 22.
