A Better Look at 'Taskmaster' in Black Widow

A set photo had leaked yesterday of the supposed villain of the Black Widow movie, and a lot of people have been arguing on whether it really was Taskmaster or Lord Zedd from Power Rangers. What's cool is, we now have a better photo of the character, and it's slowly starting to look more like the modern incarnation of Taskmaster.

Check it out:

While the first photos that came out made the character look more purple, you can now clearly see the accents of white and orange on his suit. While the character looked a lot more flamboyant in the comics (what with the cape and the skull face), the color scheme was dominantly white, black, and orange. At some point, you could even say he was Deathstroke with a white hood and cape.

For now, the last element we need to confirm is the skull face, which wasn't really clear in the first photos, or in this one. We do know he has that hood. Hopefully, Marvel gives us an official look when SDCC 2019 comes in July.

While Marvel villains are usually one and done, some are hoping that this Taskmaster ends up living to the present day. Maybe he can be the villain for the next Widow (who some guess is Yelena Belova played by Florence Pugh), but some really want him to clash with Spider-Man.

No release date has been set for the Black Widow movie, but some guess it could hit theaters late 2020.
