The season finale of Stranger Things left the fate of Eleven, the waffle-loving psychic girl, uncertain. When she disintegrated the monster from the Upside-Down, she also vanished. But now it's apparent she'll be returning for the show's second season, TVLine reports.

Millie Bobby Brown, the young actress who plays Eleven, will be back for the second season. It's not confirmed how many episodes she'll be in (so there's a slim possibility she could just be back for flashback sequences), but TVLine says "all signs point to her once again being a series regular". This will come a a relief to Eleven fans who feared she might be dead.

Stranger Things season 2 will pick up a couple years after the first season a take place during the fall of 1984. It promises to explore the "bigger mythology" of the show. The details behind the disappearance of young Will Byers last season will be elaborated on.

Another young female character will be joining the show alongside Eleven. Sadie Sink (American Oddysey) will play Max, a "tough and confident" young woman whose "appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls of that era". The second season of Stranger Things is coming in 2017.

I'm excited for Eleven's return. She's an interesting character with a lot of unexplored mysteries, so it would have been a shame if she'd never returned. How about you? Are you looking forward to more Eleven on Stranger Things?
