Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans are currently celebrating the third anniversary of the anime's broadcast and it looks like the franchise has a special treat for its supporters. The first teaser for Demon Slayer Season 3 has just been dropped and it features some awesome footage from the Swordsmith Village arc!

The teaser was shared by the official Demon Slayer Twitter account and it actually comes with a major introduction. The trailer opens with some of the highlights from the previous seasons and the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train. The last 60 seconds then feature footage from the Swordsmith Village arc. Check it out below.

It's great to finally see the village where all those Nichirin blades are made as well as the masked swordsmiths who work on the weapons. We're also loving the return of the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji who only appeared briefly in the first season. Interestingly, we also get to see Tanjiro Kamado in action although it is unclear who he is going up against.

Demon Slayer Season 3 was announced right after the second season's final episode and it was also confirmed that the third season will adapt the manga's Swordsmith Village arc. This is an exciting idea considering that the story arc takes Tanjiro to a new location where he has to work with the two Hashiras and fellow Final Selection candidate Genya Shinazugawa.

The third season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has not yet been given an official release date. However, there are speculations that the anime will be back by the end of the year or in early 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
