Netflix's horror-mystery series 1899 is finally coming to the streaming service, and it's expected to be one of the best shows this year. The series comes from Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the creators of the critically-acclaimed German time travel series Dark.

1899's story centers on a group of a group of passengers of an emigrant ship traveling from Europe to New York. The passengers are from the most diverse backgrounds, and they look forward to the dawning century with hope. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn after they discover a second ship on the open sea that has been missing for months. What they find on board turns their voyage to the promised land into a nightmarish mystery, and a web of secrets seems to link the past of each passenger together.

1899 already had a two-episode premiere event at the Toronto International Film Festival, and so far, it has received some mixed reviews, but if you enjoyed Dark, this will surely be worth checking out, so if you're wondering what time you can start watching the series in your region, you can check out information on its release time below.
