12 Works of Art That Show Avatar Korra Crossing Over Into Other Universes

Can't wait for Book 3 of Avatar: Legend of Korra to come out this Friday? Well, in keeping with the theme of "Change" this artist decided to change Korra's universe!

DeviantArtist SolKorra loves The Legend of Korra so much that she has dedicated essentially her whole portfolio to fanart of the series. Her name is Sol Ferrari, and she is a 17-year-old artist from Uruguay. As you can see, she has a lot of talent for such a young artist!

Take a look at some these amazing crossovers! Korra really is every superhero you could ever need.

  1. Wonder Korra

It's Korra... as Wonder Woman! You've gotta love that smirk. And the revealing outfit, of course. But really, isn't Korra already Wonder Woman? She's a super strong, she's already saved the world, and she bows to no man.

  2. Batgirl Korra

Oooh, very mysterious. Who'd have thought that Korra would look so good in headpieces? And that skintight suit looks pretty good - I think we all know that Korra has the musculature to pull it off.

  3. Huntress Korra

And it's another fantastic headpiece! I love that the artist is somehow incorporating Korra's hair ornaments in each piece - this time matching her hot pink rubber gloves and belt. And it's a nice contrast to the zoomed in picture of Batgirl Korra.

  4. Poison Korra

This has to be my favorite of the lot. Besides the detail in her costume - all the leaves! - I just love her facial expression. Those bright red berry lips slightly upturned, the disdainful eyebrows and seductive eyes... It really is like Korra is playing Poison Ivy. To perfection.

  5. Tomb Raider Korra

Getting away from the seductive superhero costumes to something a little more rugged - and it still works, of course. Korra looks tough, badass and ready for some beatings. The background isn't the most detailed, but it's nice to have some actual scenery in there.

  6. Modern Korra

This is the artwork that is featured in the video on the first introductory page of this list. The artist put Korra in our world - and I think the most interesting part is how her face changes. The drawing is ever slightly more realistic, less comic-book style. I'd have liked to see the whole dress, but oh well.

  7. WaterArcane Korra

Korra already has magic powers... but what if her powers were less elemental and more wizardly? How would that change the graphic style of her world? The artist is playing around with a different way of doing shadows, and the colors are more muted. I'm loving the florescent blue arcane symbols incorporated into the artwork.

  8. Easter Bunny Korra

What if Korra could bend... chocolate? Her Easter Bunny costume here is adorable - right down to her hair ornaments. It's not so much a crossover as just a simple costume experiment, but we love it all the same.

  9. Schoolgilr Korra

D'awww, look at her. She looks like she came right out of a manga! Everything from her pose, outfit, and hair ribbon is straight from a Japanese comic. And the water and book accents make that awkward pose work. And yet the artist still found a way to incorporate a tiny bit of original Korra design with the asymmetrical sash.

  10. Pony Korra

This one's for all of you who are into the My Little Pony stuff. It's Korra... as a pony. Still with the hair ornaments, and the geometrical design aspects. I'm still amazed the artist was able to make a pony recognizable as Korra. And the moon is a nice detail catering to her Water Nation origins.

  11. Country Korraa

It's Korra in a stereotypical country girl outfit! If she visited our wild west, she probably would wear something like this. And that expression on her face is pure mischief. She's probably thinking about tipping a cow or something.

  12. Catwoman Korra

And last but not least, it's Korra in a halloween Catwoman costume. She has a much more curvy figure in this picture, where previous illustrations have emphasized her musculature. The ears, tail, and painted on whiskers are adorable - and the laced bust adds an instant sexiness.

Hopefully these pictures will tide you over until Friday!
