The trailer for the J.J. Abrams-produced10 Cloverfield Lane surprised moviegoers last night. Paramount Pictures just released the first official poster for Bad Robot's upcoming monster film, and it has the line, "Monsters come in many forms." This is the same project that's been referred to at various times as Valencia and The Cellar throughout its development, and it centers on a young woman (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) trapped in an underground bunker, and if you've seen the trailer, it's probably for her own safety. The film is directed by Matt Reeves and written by Drew Goddard, but could this be a direct sequel to the original Cloverfield? Abrams called it a "blood relative" to the original, so we'll probably see the same kind of alien monster we've seen in the original, or at least its various forms.
10 Cloverfield Lane will hit theaters March 11, 2016.
