One of the most talented up-and-coming filmmakers in Hollywood has been hired to direct one of the new episodes of Black Mirror. If you haven't seen that show yet, I highly recommend you to binge it all on Netflix this weekend. It's beautifully-written, intelligent, thought-provoking, and compelling. Even Robert Downey Jr. said that it's his favorite show.

According to Deadline, 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg will direct one of the new season's standalone episodes, though they haven't revealed the plot or the actors who will be in the episode. After the critical success of 10 Cloverfield Lane, it's easy to see why he was chosen to direct an episode. He has a talent for telling compelling stories and has a great eye for spectacular visuals.

Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker returns as the showrunner for the twelve new episodes (That's four times more than each of the previous two seasons!), which he's written. So far, Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, and Malachi Kirby have been confirmed to appear, and Trachtenberg joins directors Jakob Verbruggen (House of Cards) and Joe Wright (Hanna, Pan) as the only announced directors of the new season so far.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Netflix will premiere Season 3 of Black Mirror, but no exact date has been declared. This is definitely one of the must-watch TV shows coming to Netflix this year.
