Requiem of the Rose King Episode 6 Recap
Based on a supernatural manga by Kanno Aya, Requiem of the Rose King unfolds in the backdrop of the War of Roses. While it is primarily a work of fiction, the manga and anime draw on historical themes, including the struggle for the English throne.
Richard is plagued by visions of Joan of Arc, who tells him he'll bring ruin to everyone around him - and given that Richard III met a tragic ending, you can just about believe her.
In Episode 6, Margaret takes action to reclaim the throne her husband abandoned. She and her son, Edward of Lancaster, go to Warwick, asking for his aid. To seal the alliance, Margaret also asks that Edward and Anne be joined in marriage, much to Edward's dismay.
Richard is plagued by visions of both Anne and Henry abandoning him, and decides to push Anne away for fear of being hurt.
King Edward forbids George's intended marriage to Isabelle Neville, but George goes through with it in secret and ambushes his brother with Warwick's aid. Elizabeth Woodville's plans to dispose of him after her heir is born are devastated once more. Warwick's men come to capture her, but Buckingham pretends not to know her whereabouts. The self-proclaimed king-maker decides to exploit the throne's unsteady foundations to make Richard his king.

The scheduled release date for Requiem of the Rose King Episode 7 is Sunday, the 20th of February 2022, in both Japan and elsewhere. Those who don't have a Funimation account will be able to watch it on the 27th of February but there will be a few ads.
