The real estate drama at the Oppenheim Group continues off-screen with yet another Selling The O.C. cast member leaving the brokerage, Alexandra Jarvis. She is now the third agent who left the O Group, and it’s all because of the toxic work environment.

Alexandra Jarvis, one of the OG agents in the Newport Beach-based office, recently announced her departure just before the third season's premiere. With fans disappointed by her announcement, perhaps her reason for leaving would shed more light on her decision.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Alexandra Jarvis didn't hold back when discussing her reasons for leaving the Oppenheim Group. According to her, the toxic culture at the Newport Beach office had become increasingly toxic, prompting her decision to walk away.

“There were a lot of factors that went into my decision, [including] toxic culture. I don’t really think anyone’s surprised by [my departure]. I don’t really know what to say about it other than I just know when it’s time to leave a party,” she told PEOPLE.

Although her photo has been absent from the Oppenheim Group's website for several weeks, she wasn't edited out of the show. Luckily, Jarvis is still part of the latest season, and the trailer reveals she’s still a big part of it.

Jason Oppenheim, co-owner of the Oppenheim Group, weighed in on Alexandra's exit, expressing his support for her decision. “She decided to do what's best for her, and I have a lot of respect for that,” he shared with PEOPLE. He also mentioned that the two remained on good terms and that he didn't want to speak for her or whatever reason she had for leaving.

Since her exit, Alexandra has enjoyed some much-needed downtime with her husband, Sergio Ducoulombier. The couple tied the knot in April 2023 in a romantic ceremony at the Villa del Balbianello, overlooking Italy's picturesque Lake Como. With reality TV in the rearview mirror, Alexandra embraces a more relaxed lifestyle than the brokerage.

She mentioned to PEOPLE that she's grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time with her husband and escape the drama of reality TV.

The real estate agent is the third cast member to leave the Oppenheim Group since October 2023. Tyler Stanaland and Sean Palmieri also left the group.

Tyler Stanaland's departure was heavily publicised following rumours of a scandalous relationship with fellow castmate Alex Hall, which raised questions about his marriage to Brittany Snow. He eventually joined his father's brokerage, Douglas Elliman, as part of the John Stanaland Group.

Palmieri's departure was revealed just days after the season three trailer debuted, and he was seen causing tension within the team. His intense clashes with other cast members appear to reflect the “culture fit” concerns he mentioned during a 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight.
