Marvel finally reveals Agatha All Along as the official title of the WandaVision spinoff starring Kathryn Hahn.

Since the series' first announcement in 2021, it has had several subtitle changes: House of Harkness, Darkhold Diaries, and Coven of Chaos. The most recent one is The Lying Witch with the Great Wardrobe, a not-so-subtle callback to C.S. Lewis’s bestselling children’s novel. Marvel uploaded the latter’s title card earlier this week but immediately deleted it afterwards.

Fans will remember Agatha All Along as the viral hit song performed by Agatha in the seventh episode of WandaVision, where she reveals that she is not just the nosy neighbour Agnes but a witch who has been disrupting Wanda’s made-up reality in an attempt to steal her chaos magic.

Since the previous subtitles are still reflected in the teaser, fans speculate they may be episode titles. Whether this move has been intentional since the beginning or just a recent development to sustain the buzz around the delayed series, it aligns with the character of Agatha as a mischievous, insidious witch who messes up with everything.

Agatha All Along is expected to take place after WandaVision's events. In the finale, Wanda traps a powerless Agatha within the barriers of Westview, sentencing her to a lifetime in the Agnes persona.

Hahn returns in the lead role, with other WandaVision cast reprising their roles: Debra Jo Rupp (Mrs. Hart), Emma Caulfield (Dottie Jones), David Lengel (Phil Jones), David Payton (Herb), Asif Ali (Norm), and Kate Forbes (Evanora Harkness). They are joined by theatre legend Patti Lupone and rising star Joe Locke in Agatha’s journey to free herself from Wanda’s hex and regain her powers.

Agatha All Along will be available to stream on Disney+ starting September 18, 2024.
