Wonder Woman Honest Trailer: It’s A Flawed, But Important Movie

With the release of Wonder Woman in Blu-Ray, Screen Junkies once again delivers a new honest trailer, this time poking fun at the DCEU’s most successful film (so far).

“Visit Themyscrya, Themyscriya, The-Themesia—visit Xena: Warrior Island, a society of women trained from birth to cover up Gal Gadot’s accent.”

Even though Wonder Woman is a jack-of-all-trades goddess in the film, it’s true that the only fault they could give her was the fact that she was clueless about most things. Then again, that shouldn’t really be Diana’s fault. I mean, she was trained on an island of ancient Greek women her whole life.

I admit, Honest Trailers can sometimes get a bit harsh with their critiques, but even if they point out all the flaws of Wonder Woman, they do give it props for being an important movie that gives women young and old a superhero they can feel proud of.

Wonder Woman was such a smash hit that it brought some new life into the DC Cinematic Universe. Hopefully they continue with another home run when they release Justice League later this year.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
