Westworld: Stephen Colbert Is A Host In Hilarious Skit For The Emmys

HBO had made another home run with the series Westworld, and the show is gearing up for the release of its next season in 2018. Being the host for the Emmys, Stephen Colbert stars in this funny skit which has him as one of the park’s malfunctioning hosts and it even has Jeffrey Wright (Bernard) participating.

With Game of Thrones nearing its end, a lot of people are expecting Westworld to be the new flagship for HBO. With amazing writing and production value (plus gratuitous amounts of violence and nudity), Westworld can easily contend for being the next big thing after Game of Thrones completes its story.

Westworld even follows the GoT trend when it comes to [SPOILER] the most recognizable actor in the series (Anthony Hopkins/Sean Bean) dying near the end of the first season. I’m guessing HBO doesn’t have the budget to keep this high-profile characters around for longer than one season. [END SPOILER]

If you haven’t checked out Westworld yet, I suggest you should give it a go. Sure the show doesn’t have a character that has the same charisma as Tyrion Lannister, but I can say that the storytelling is definitely on par with (if not better than) Game of Thrones.

Westworld 2 airs on HBO on the Spring of 2018.
