January is definitely an exciting month for fans of Steven Universe. The fourth season of Cartoon Network’s quirky and progressive science fiction animated series is scheduled to return with another set of episodes and it looks like a wave of sneak peeks and clips have managed to make their way online before the episodes big premiere.
Clips taken from Steven Universe’s first Steven Bomb of the year, the leaked footage reveals that fans will finally learn more about the hierarchy of the Homeworld Gems and the true persona of the mysterious Blue Diamond. Featuring clips from Steven’s Dream, Adventures in Light Distortion, Gem Heist, The Zoo and That Will Be All fans will get to see Steven and the Crystal Gems try to save Greg from Blue Diamond’s zoo. One of the leaked footage even reveals a new song from Yellow Diamond – a dry little piece meant to help lift Blue Diamond’s spirits as the Homeworld Gem grieves over the death of Pink Diamond.
Though the clips aren’t that long, they give fans a good taste of what’s to come in the next episodes of Steven Universe and watching them is a pretty good way to keep everyone excited for the start of the Steven Bomb.
