Watch: What George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode VII Would Have Looked Like


George Lucas seemed to have a plan for a nine-part saga for the Star Wars universe even though he has gone on record to say that he would have never made Star Wars films beyond the initial six. From an excerpt of an interview Lucas gave when the series was at its peak, he said: 

"I'm just going to keep it pure. It's a nine part saga that has a beginning, a middle, and an end. It progresses over a period of 50 to 60 years with about 20 years between trilogies, each trilogy taking 6 or 7 years."

Mr. Sunday Movies has shared a video exploring what Lucas' Episode VIII would have looked like. It would have centered on a group of teens. The video noted that there's an artwork of Kira, a version of Rey, who seems to have a significant role in Lucas' Episode VII plans. Watch the video below:
