OnlyLeigh has this great series on Youtube where she breaks down the “stages” of watching movie franchises like Marvel or Pixar, and with the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming this week, HISHE on Youtube has come up with their own “Five Stages of Watching a Spider-Man Reboot.”
I’ll be honest, the video might feel a bit out of context if you’ve never followed the ones with Leigh on them, so I’ll just post her Stages of Watching a Marvel Movie first, then you can check out the Spider-Man one.
Though the Stages series are usually found on Leigh’s channel, they are frequently collaborated with HISHE, so it was only a matter of time before HISHE made their own video. As for Spider-Man: Homecoming, the movie is getting the most stunning reviews, and I thought they were all very well deserved. The movie was amazing, and Marvel made sure not to tread any of the old ground that the previous films had; I even love their new takes on old characters. Just brilliant.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters tomorrow on July 7.
