Watch: Star Wars Themes Performed On Calculators

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out in the end of the week, and everyone on the internet is celebrating the latest installment to the Skywalker saga. Janina Gavankar, who plays Iden Versio on Star Wars Battlefront II, has shared this neat video of Star Wars themes played on calculators.

Check it out:

I have no idea how someone can even compose tones with calculators, but this is still pretty cool. Another one of the cool internet tributes to one of the most timeless franchises in cinema.

It’s even cool how they added the 20th Century Fox fanfare with the calculators. Just goes to show how much of a part it is to the original trilogy. With the Disney/Fox acquisition  being finalized this week, I’m curious whether Lucasfilm would consider re-attaching Fox to their Star Wars releases.

Here’s the synopsis for Star Wars: The Last Jedi:

Rey develops her newly discovered abilities with the guidance of Luke Skywalker, who is unsettled by the strength of her powers. Meanwhile, the Resistance prepares to do battle with the First Order.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15.
