Watch Overwatch Gamer Do the Perfect Rick and Morty Impersonation

Rick and Morty fans have been waiting for news about the brassy science fiction animated series’ season 3 premiere since forever, and while some have been busy stalking the show’s official social media accounts for news, others have been busy distracting themselves with games and memes. One of these Rick and Morty fans have been making the headlines in Blizzard’s popular first-person shooter, Overwatch, not because of his gaming skill but because of his wildly accurate impressions of both Rick and Morty.

YouTube user Nickel has discovered an Overwatch gamer called Turok with a close to perfect impression of Rick and Morty. Without the slight distinction in his vocals, many gamers would probably believe that they were teaming up with Rick and Morty’s series creator and voice actor, Justin Roiland.

Though a slight difference between Turok and Roiland’s voice can be detected in the clip, the Overwatch gamer does a pretty good job of doing vocal impersonations of Rick and Morty while playing online. It’s pretty neat that Turok knows how to control the inflection of his voice and fit the perfect Rick quip in the match. If Roiland ever gets down with a fever, he could probably have Turok come right in and cover for him.
