Watch: Mark Hamill Reacts to Star Wars Episode VIII Title

Mark Hamill has some things to say about the newly-revealed title for Star Wars: Episode VII. He spoke with Associated Press about how he felt about the title. You can see the video below:

Hamill states in the video that he heard the title, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, had been announced on his car ride over. He said that the director had previously told him the title and he responded "don't tell me these things". Apparently he "talks in his sleep".

When it comes to leaking spoilers, he admits the studio has him and his co-workers "jacked up with paranoia" and also notes how it wasn't like this in the old days of Star Wars because "nobody cared."

As for his feelings on the title, Hamill approves. "It's got a real samurai [vibe]," he said. "It's straightforward and minimalist, and I like that."

I agree that "The Last Jedi" is a bit reminiscent of "The Last Samurai". What do you think of the title? What do you think it means for the movie?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
