Watch: Justin Roiland And Dan Harmon Explain The Origins Of Rick And Morty

Rick and Morty is one of the biggest show around today, and we have Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon to thank for it. With the third season finally in full swing, Adult Swim has released a new video detailing the origins of the show, and how the creators got to make Rick and Morty a reality.

The video so far focuses more on the origin of the creators and it will be the first part of a series exploring the origins of Rick and Morty. You can see that Roiland had started most of his work on animation with his own circle, with Harmon starting up more on live-action and sketch comedy.

The video also has clips of Roiland’s earlier animation work, and you can see some of the earlier versions of characters like Rick, Mr. Poopybutthole, and Mr. Jellybean. It’s amazing how Harmon and Roiland came to work with each other, and the two had been huge fans of each other’s work.

For now, everyone is enjoying the third season of Rick and Morty, and the end of the week has everybody tuning in for a new episode of this show plus Game of Thrones. It’s a good time to be a fan, and hopefully the third season delivers like the first two.
