Watch: How To Improve Your Magic: The Gathering Gameplay With A Deck Library


You can build the best Magic: the Gathering decks in the world but without enough practice, chances are you'll blunder in big tournaments, where it counts. Sometimes playing with your local Friday Night Magic group isn't enough to prepare for a Grand Prix or other big tournaments. Those with more experience playing against certain decks types and getting to know the current meta of a given format tend to do better than those who are just testing out their newly-build "Tier-1" decks in major events, so what can we do to get an edge over other players? You can simply play more games in Magic Online and/or you can build your own deck library of the best decks in the current format so you can practice with a group of friends and improve your gameplay. Back in 2015, the Tolarian Community College YouTube channel released a video that teaches you how to build your deck library. As the Professor said, you don't need to actually buy all the cards to build all the top tier decks in Standard, Modern, or any other format. This could also help determine how to improve certain deck types and help you make the best decisions when you're playing in an actual tournament. Watch the video below:
