Watch: Every Easter Egg in The Incredibles II

[WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE INCREDIBLES II]

The Incredibles II is currently blowing up in theaters, and like with every blockbuster, Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube gives us a thorough breakdown of the Easter Eggs and references in the film—complete with his signature brand of humor.

For one, not only does the movie have references to the original film, but also the short film that spun off from movie: Jack Jack Attack. Edna uses Mozart to calm down Jack Jack, and in the short Kari’s use of Mozart was what seemingly triggered Jack Jack’s powers in the first place.

Also, the machine used to erase Tony Rydinger’s memory was the same one used on Kari in the short.

It’s also interesting that Jack Jack can travel dimensions, as the voice of Mr. Incredible, Craig T. Nelson, also played the father of a dimension-travelling child in the cult movie, Poltergeist.

You’ll also notice that in the scene in the motel, the family is wearing the exact same outfits they’re wearing at the end of the first movie, with Dash still in his “2” shirt. It would only make sense since the film picks up immediately after the first one. You can even say they sort of overlap.

The Incredibles II was a pretty great romp, and though I think the original was better, this film still manages to shine very well on its own. Catch The Incredibles II in theaters now.
