Watch Cats Reenact The 'I Am Your Father' Sequence From Empire Strikes Back

Mixing epic Star Wars scenes with playful felines can be an intoxicatingly cute mix, and it looks like a fan has done just that to one of the most iconic scene in the entire Star Wars franchise – the “No, I am your father ,” bit from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

Yesterday, YouTube user Pasdidee posted a video titled The Empire Scratches Back; a fun little clip recreating the iconic scene with a couple of cats at home. Walking from a bed to a plank to recreate the pyre where Luke falls from, fans get to see the cat moving almost exactly the same way Luke and Vader did in The Empire Strikes Back.

While the production quality isn’t that impressive, it’s really cute to look at the cats mirroring the iconic “I am your father” scene, especially when the cat playing the part of Luke gives out a little kitty scream when Luke yells out “No!” to his father, Darth Vader. It’s too cute to miss out on. Hope we get to see more Star Wars cat videos from these guys soon.
